Dr. Vladimir Kubet and His Eminence Bishop of Pakrac and Slavonia Mr. Jovan on continued cooperation in the protection of cultural heritage in Slavonia
His Eminence Bishop of Pakrac and Slavonia, Mr. Jovan, invited to a meeting the acting director, Dr. Vladimir Kubet, and Jovan Ćeranić, sculptor-conservator who is the head of the project and conservation-restoration works of the collection of icons and iconostases of the Diocese of Pakrac and Slavonia. The meeting discussed what has been done so far and the work plans for the next year. After the meeting, they visited the Pakra Monastery, where they inspected the current condition of the iconostasis. They also visited the Monastery of St. Anne and Orahovica, where restoration work is underway, led by colleagues from the Croatian Restoration Department from Zagreb. The conclusion of the visit and meeting is to continue cooperation, start a new project at the Pakra Monastery, and work on the collection of icons from the depot.
