Research in Srbobran

The Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments Petrovaradin will conduct field research in the Srbobran area from October to the end of December 2026, for the purposes of preparing the Elaboration of the Immovable Cultural Heritage "The Inner Historical Core of Srbobran".

Fieldwork will include expert visits and recording of the objects, photographic documentation and collection of data on their architectural and historical characteristics. Technical recordings will be carried out by employees of the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments Petrovaradin.

The goal of the research is to document and assess the value of the historic core and improve its protection, while taking into account the existing condition and needs of the local community.
