Opening of the exhibition of the project “Do something for heritage”

On December 18 at 12:00, the exhibition of the project "Do something for heritage" was opened at the Nikola Tesla High School and Vocational School, Apatin. The project was implemented by the PZZZSK, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla High School and Vocational School from Apatin and the Veljko Petrović High School from Sombor. "With this project, we tried to encourage young people to engage in the preservation of cultural heritage with the support of their teachers, thus creating a bridge between the past and the future," said Ljiljana Stražmešterov, the architect of the Institute and the project leader, on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition. The exhibition featured a window, over 100 years old, removed from the Apatin town hall, whose restoration was the work of the hands and efforts of the students of the Apatin gymnasium, as well as video material, the work of the students of the Sombor gymnasium who recorded every step of this process. Also on display were photographs by Marija Erdelji, the institute's photographer, who, with her artistic eye, captured the most beautiful moments and details of this project.
