Opening of the exhibition at the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church

On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, an exhibition entitled "Servant of Peace and Love" was opened at the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the repose of the Holy Confessor Dositej of Niš and Zagreb.

The opening was attended by the acting director of the Institute, Dr. Vladimir Kubet, as well as the acting director of the Museum of Vojvodina, Čarna Milinković. The exhibition was opened by His Holiness the Archbishop of Peć, Metropolitan of Belgrade and Karlovac and Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije.

On this occasion, selected personal items, archival documents, photographs and video materials from the following collections were exhibited: the Archives of the Holy Synod of Bishops, the Museum of the Serbian Orthodox Church, the Museum of Church Antiquities of the Diocese of Niš, the Museum and Archives of the Diocese of Zagreb - Ljubljana, the Belgrade City Museum, the Library of the Serbian Patriarchate, the Library of Matica Srpska, the Yugoslav Film Archive, the Croatian State Archives, as well as from the private collections of Nebojša Pančić and Dr. Pavle Marek (Czech Republic).

The exhibition was opened as part of the Council of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
