Bishop’s letter

As a sign of friendship and gratitude for the successful cooperation in the conservation and restoration of the collection of icons and iconostases of the Diocese of Pakrac and Slavonia, the Bishop of Pakrac and Slavonia, Mr. Jovan, sent an invitation to the Provincial Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments to attend the consecration of the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity in Pakrac and the opening of the library.

On September 7, the renovated temple was consecrated at the Divine Liturgy, personally presided over by His Holiness the Serbian Patriarch and attended by numerous hierarchs and clergy from all over the world. On the same occasion, the ceremonial opening of the library of the Diocese of Slavonia in the Bishop's Palace was also held.

The dedication with which the Institute's conservators approached the conservation and restoration of icons and objects from the depot in Pakrac, acting director Dr. Vladimir Kubet and Jovan Ćeranic, sculptor-conservator, were crowned with the ARCHIPELAGO GRADUATE.
